Since its establishment in 2023, the National Conference on Innovative Strategies (NCIS) has emerged as a highly anticipated boutique-style education conference in the industry. We facilitate the exchange of ideas, experiences, and research to improve quality and effectiveness across diverse learning communities. NCIS brings together thought leaders and practitioners to inspire actionable change, integrate technology and innovative methodologies, and promote continuous improvement and excellence in education.
Why We Exist
A Message from Our Co-Founder
NCIS was co-founded by Dr. Ericka Johnson, a former charter superintendent. Moved by leaders expressing feelings of isolation in their roles, Dr. J. aimed to establish a close-knit setting where leaders nationwide could gather with like-minded individuals. The goal was to engage in conversations about challenges and solutions to advance education for every student served.
